Thank you for joining us for our 2015 Summer Reading Program!

Ages 3 through 6th Grade:  Come Read to the Rhythm!

Doyle Public Library hosted this promotional event for children by creating the Summer Reading Program! The statewide theme for the summer reading program is “Read to the Rhythm.”  Every Wednesday afternoon during the month of June there will be an event held from 1-2pm.  We are excited to announce that the author whose books were chosen by the State of Illinois to promote the summer reading theme will be here on June 3rd to kick off our program.  Please see the list below for all scheduled events:
June 3- Illinois Author, Neal Proud Deer
June 10- Charlotte Schurich, University of Illinois Extension Office
June 17- Sarah Weatherford, Panhandle Music Teacher
June 24- Darrell Cannedy, retired Panhandle Band Director
July 1- Picnic at Raymond Park
*Children are encouraged to bring a donation for the Panhandle Food Pantry when they attend special library events on Wednesdays.
